The 12 Tools I Use In My Business Each Day

The 12 Tools I Use In My Business Each Day.png

You asked, I answered!

Here is the list of 12 of the tools I use in my business on a daily basis.

#1- To collect payments and create new products.

I use SamCart for my shopping cart and it lets me automatically deliver my digital files, create upsell products, sell physical products, and so much more.

It's $99/month and worth every cent for me because it keeps the stats, tracks views, and conversions so I know if a product is converting well and when does it need to be tweaked.

If you're looking for a lower cost option to deliver digital products, check out SendOwn (it offers an upsell option.), PulleyApp, or DPDcart.

#2- To record screenshares.

I use Loom to record my screens for my video trainings, video audits, walkthroughs and more. It’s a free app, and they also have a paid version now.

The site is Useloom.com. This records both screen and audio as well as storing your videos so they can be shared or downloaded.

I also use Screencast-o-matic for quick and simple video edits.

#3- To create a website.

Squarespace is currently my favorite site to create websites.

You can easily buy new domains, they have amazing drag and drop templates so you don't have to be a coding wiz, and they are self hosted, so no outside hosting required.

They also have AMAZING customer support so if you need help with anything, they have you covered.

I use the Pacific and Five templates.

I use my site for my Instagram links page, registration page, opt-in page, as well as my sales pages.

Everything can be done on the same platform which makes keeping everything organized so much simpler.

Squarespace also has built-in eCommerce so you can sell directly physical products, digital products, and services from the site and can be paid via PayPal or Stripe

#4- To schedule my Instagram content.

I don’t schedule my content often but if I need to Planoly is my go to site.

Their site allows you to schedule videos, multiple photo posts, Instagram Stories and more.

You can also answer comments directly on the website which is a great way to boost your engagement without having to be tied to your phone.

#6- To create countdowns.

Deadline Funnel is awesome for creating countdowns and you can add the codes just about every where from Samcart to your mailing list.

It helps to boost sales when people know they have a limited time to buy items.

Motion Mail is a great free option if you want to add simple timers to your emails.

#7- To make presentations. (The slides)

I teach a class at least once a week whether it’s a free one used to grow my email list or one of my paid Masterclasses and I use Canva to create all of my slides.

They’ve added a ton of templates to Canva For Work so there are endless options for styling your slides for your brand and the most impact.

Canva also has a new Present and Website mode that you can use along with Loom to make prerecorded videos.

#8- To host webinars.

WebinarJam is the my current platform and I love them because of the class size that I need for my webinars.

It's $397 a YEAR, which is perfect for me as my audience grows I need the ability to have unlimited classes without needed a ton of software or paying $500/MONTH which is what I would have needed for most of the platforms I checked and it would have only given me a room for 1000 people.

Webinar Jam makes replays a breeze as well so you can use them to continue to build your lists and sales funnels.

You can also use Youtube Live as a standalone to host your webinars for free and just create a page on your Squarespace website.

For smaller class sizes(under 100) , Zoom is a great starter platform.

#9- To send emails.

Convertkit is my email provider. (My referral link: https://mbsy.co/convertkit/30170474)

From setting up email sequences, sending out my regular broadcast emails, connecting to my audience, CK has a ton of features that will help you create a strong and profitable email list.

They’ve also updated many of their forms recently so you have many options built directly into the platform.

#10- Text Messages

I use txt180.com for my text message marketing.

You can send text messages for reminders when you’re going Live, about sales, free content to build your list, challenges and so much more. I’ve fallen in love with text message marketing because it gives your audience another way to connect directly with you and the response rate is amazing.

Here’s my referral link if you want to try them out: txt180.com/sl/241

#11- To create courses and membership sites.

I moved back to Kajabi last year and now that I've learned how to work the platform, I'm kicking myself for not committing to it earlier. Kajabi hosts all of my Masterclasses, my courses, and will host my new membership site. It integrates with Samcart which is always a plus and makes my life easier.

Other options for courses are:

Teachable

Teachery

Thinkific

Coursecraft

#12- Stock Images

My favorite paid stock image sites are:

Sheboldstock.co (My referral link: http://sheboldstock.com?fp_ref=cici23)

Createherstock.com

Styledstocksociety.com

Hautestock.co

Alright, those are the systems I use daily so if I missed anything let me know in the comments.

Networking on the Gram 101

Instagram is one of the best social media platforms for networking when done properly.

For networking to work properly both parties should mutually benefit.

Below are my tips for reaching out to others to collaborate and do the popular shout out for shoutout (sfs).

1) Do your homework.

Make sure any page that you want to collaborate with is in the same market.

For example, if your page is based on selling weight loss products, you may not want to reach out to a popular shoe page. Their followers would not benefit from your information if they have targeted their audience properly.

Think of pages that would complement your current market so it's mutually beneficial.

2) Don't cold contact.

Engage with the page before you attempt to do any networking.

One of my personal pet peeves is for someone to ask for a sfs out of the blue.

If I've never seen you on my page whether it be with likes or comments, I'm not interested. Many pages have loyalty shoutouts for people who are often active, or with simple engagement, they may find your content interesting enough to share without you needing to ask to be shared.

3) Check contact methods.

DM, KIK and Email are popular forms of contact for IG, but some pages don't like to receive DM messages or perhaps track all of their information through email contact.

The preferred contact method will often be listed in their bio, take the time to check it out.

Oftentimes, when you reach out and no response is received you may not have used the proper contact method.

4) Make sure your page is ready for the prospective followers/clients.

If you only post every 2-3 days, you don't have a very active page.

From a collab standpoint, if your page won't equally contribute to the process, you should wait until your page is up to it.

It's not always about how many followers you have to be beneficial.

Many new pages that are actively putting the effort into their brand and following have more active followers than say a larger page that doesn't interact well.

Hope these were helpful, happy branding, let me know if you have any questions!!! Check out The Ultimate Guide to Instagram 2.0 for more strategies on how to grow your Instagram page.

My First $14,000 In Sales in 2018.

My First $14,100 of 2018..png

Hey!!

Can you believe it’s already the end of the first week of 2018? I have a good feeling that things are going to move quickly this year and I’ve ready for it.

What have you done this week?

Did you take some time to reflect on last year, maybe you got some rest, or did you hit the ground running for the new year?

I was the last and this morning I’m grinning pretty happy about the plans I made for this year.

Now, I debated about the title for this email because I didn’t want to sound like I was bragging but at the same time I wanted to share I hit my first goal of the year.

This is going to be my million dollar year and that means going hard with a plan to get there. I don’t want to make it alone so sharing the strategies and successes are part of the process.

I was also reminded of my keys to making over $700,000 last year which was to have money talks. Too many of us are afraid to talk about the money which is why many of us develop fears and limitations around what we can have and achieve. I will not be bound or weighed down by that this year and I hope you’re joining me. (if you don’t have the 30 Keys I Learned To Make Over 700K In 2017, Click here to order the eBook.)

Alright so on to the Strategy.

Step #1- Ask yourself 3 questions.

What do they need?

What do I offer?

What’s the desired outcome?

At the beginning of the year, many people are in resolution mode.

They want to start businesses, start eating healthier, start saving money, take better care of their skin, dress better, grow their hair out, etc.

Where does this renewal fit into your business?

I teach entrepreneurs how to create connections with their communities, build, information/digital products, and increase their income through marketing strategies.

My clients or potential clients need help with all of these areas.

I offer eBooks, webinars, Masterclasses, Membership, and more to fit those needs.

The desired results are for them to understand and be able to execute social media strategies, understand and gain the knowledge to create sales funnels, they want to see increased engagement and increased sales from their social media.

Step #2- Determine which products will help your clients get the desired results.

For me, the top 5 products that have sold this year are:

1. The Business: Unlocked Bundle has sold 164 courses at $47 and made $7708.00

2. The Ultimate Guide to Instagram 2.0 has sold 17 eBooks and made $459.00

3. The Ultimate Business Plan for Creatives has sold 18 eBooks and made $360.00

4. $700K in 2017 eBook has sold 118 eBooks and made $2,124.00

5. Social Media Success in 2018 (Live Masterclass.) has sold 96 seats and made $1937.28.

I’ve had a few other products that have a few sales, but just these five have brought in $12,588.28.

Not bad for the first 4 days of the year.

Which brings us to step #3- PROMOTE YOUR SOLUTIONS, THEN OFFER YOUR PRODUCT.

Focusing on the products may leave a potential customer unclear on what they will achieve.

By focusing on the solution once your client connects to what they want to achieve, the product becomes their key to getting what they want, and the sale becomes so much easier.

Offer the solutions every day and watch your audience flock to your products!

Alrighty guys, since the 5 products were doing so well, I put them into a bundle so you can get all 5 listed above and save nearly $50 with the Begin Your Biz Bundle.
