My First $14,000 In Sales in 2018.

My First $14,100 of 2018..png

Hey!!

Can you believe it’s already the end of the first week of 2018? I have a good feeling that things are going to move quickly this year and I’ve ready for it.

What have you done this week?

Did you take some time to reflect on last year, maybe you got some rest, or did you hit the ground running for the new year?

I was the last and this morning I’m grinning pretty happy about the plans I made for this year.

Now, I debated about the title for this email because I didn’t want to sound like I was bragging but at the same time I wanted to share I hit my first goal of the year.

This is going to be my million dollar year and that means going hard with a plan to get there. I don’t want to make it alone so sharing the strategies and successes are part of the process.

I was also reminded of my keys to making over $700,000 last year which was to have money talks. Too many of us are afraid to talk about the money which is why many of us develop fears and limitations around what we can have and achieve. I will not be bound or weighed down by that this year and I hope you’re joining me. (if you don’t have the 30 Keys I Learned To Make Over 700K In 2017, Click here to order the eBook.)

Alright so on to the Strategy.

Step #1- Ask yourself 3 questions.

What do they need?

What do I offer?

What’s the desired outcome?

At the beginning of the year, many people are in resolution mode.

They want to start businesses, start eating healthier, start saving money, take better care of their skin, dress better, grow their hair out, etc.

Where does this renewal fit into your business?

I teach entrepreneurs how to create connections with their communities, build, information/digital products, and increase their income through marketing strategies.

My clients or potential clients need help with all of these areas.

I offer eBooks, webinars, Masterclasses, Membership, and more to fit those needs.

The desired results are for them to understand and be able to execute social media strategies, understand and gain the knowledge to create sales funnels, they want to see increased engagement and increased sales from their social media.

Step #2- Determine which products will help your clients get the desired results.

For me, the top 5 products that have sold this year are:

1. The Business: Unlocked Bundle has sold 164 courses at $47 and made $7708.00

2. The Ultimate Guide to Instagram 2.0 has sold 17 eBooks and made $459.00

3. The Ultimate Business Plan for Creatives has sold 18 eBooks and made $360.00

4. $700K in 2017 eBook has sold 118 eBooks and made $2,124.00

5. Social Media Success in 2018 (Live Masterclass.) has sold 96 seats and made $1937.28.

I’ve had a few other products that have a few sales, but just these five have brought in $12,588.28.

Not bad for the first 4 days of the year.

Which brings us to step #3- PROMOTE YOUR SOLUTIONS, THEN OFFER YOUR PRODUCT.

Focusing on the products may leave a potential customer unclear on what they will achieve.

By focusing on the solution once your client connects to what they want to achieve, the product becomes their key to getting what they want, and the sale becomes so much easier.

Offer the solutions every day and watch your audience flock to your products!

Alrighty guys, since the 5 products were doing so well, I put them into a bundle so you can get all 5 listed above and save nearly $50 with the Begin Your Biz Bundle.

Top Instagram Mistakes, How to Correct, How to Avoid Them

top instagram mistakes and how to avoid them

Top IG Mistakes

How to Correct, How to Avoid

1.  Making Your Instagram Account Private

The ideal situation is for followers to find your Instagram page, like, comment, and eventually become a customer/client. A private page is a turn off for one main reason. Why should I be forced to follow just to see a product you want to sell?

Instagram can be viewed as one big window shopping experience when it comes to businesses, there are many potential followers that may find you through tags or referrals. They may like or comment on your content, there are still more who may never follow but will still utilize your services. A private page halts all activity that can be beneficial. Unless someone is just adamant to know what you offer, most will leave a private page quickly.

Private requests also have to be approved, which depending on when it was sent can take up to a day to receive an approval. When was the last time you waited a day to view something and still remembered or wanted it?

2. Posting images too close together.

Posts should be allowed to “breathe” so to speak. Most comments or likes will occur in the first hour. Keep in mind that you are not the only account being followed. Posting images too close together limits the exposure a certain pic may receive as well as you push your own content down. No one likes to feel spammed either, it a page posts 5-10 images back to back most are likely to feel overwhelmed and often unfollow. Schedule at least an hour to two in between posts.

3. Ignoring comments.

No one likes to feel ignored.  That’s the long and short if it. It doesn’t matter if you have 50 or 50,000 followers, you should carve out time to answer their comments as much as you can. Of course some can’t be avoided, i.e. a customer posts on an image 56 weeks old and you never see it. For the majority make it a point at least once a week, to review your last week of images for new comments that may have been missed. Even if its a few days, a potential client will appreciate the effort over never getting a response.

4. Inconsistent or Repetitive.

A double-edged sword here, you can under post as well as overpost. Presenting a clear, stable view of your business is ideal. It builds trust and consistency. People buy from brands that they feel comfortable and secure with. There should not be days, much less weeks without new content being posted. Present a varied view, pushing your services is ok, but focus on the overall customer experience. A page that is Buy, Buy, Buy won’t achieve the desired effect and seems quite disingenuous.

5.Hashtags.

Hashtags and business go hand in hand. Instagram is made for hashtags. It opens your posts to the widest audience. People search hashtags more than they search people. Relevant tags will draw the right people to your page.

Are Your Ready to Stop Hiding?

You Are Your Brand: Masterclass, Slay 2017

Hey Army!!

I've had some wonderful conversations this week and as I prepare for my annual vacation month I'm looking forward to refining some products, services, and systems for my brand. I shared my sales to date for 2016 earlier on Instagram which was, $320,000+,  ($60,000 more than I made last year running two brands, It Starts With Juice and The Six Figure Chick).

What was the biggest factor that allowed me to focus on one business, increase profits, stop driving myself into exhaustion, and have more freedom? Well, not to sound self-centered or anything, the biggest change was ME.

Running your business is a task, not necessarily good or bad, but something that must be done. Sometimes we lose sight of what we want and who we serve. We begin to hide behind screen names, social media success, and become afraid of allowing anyone to see us make mistakes or be seen as not having it all together. Over time that will affect the core of your brand and how you connect to your audience. And let's face it, if you're not connecting with their emotions, they are not connecting with Paypal, Stripe, or any other form of payment.

For 2016, one of my affirmations began as flaws and all and eventually grew to I'm pretty damn awesome as I am no apologies, no qualifiers. I made mistakes, I had setbacks, but most importantly I grew and had fun doing it.

I learned to tap into my story and share it authentically, understand and read my audience, learn what was working, snatch down what wasn't and continuously create new products that my audience quickly purchased and shared. I knew when to take breaks and my tribe encouraged me to. I watched not only my business flourish, but light bulbs, AHA moments, and breakthroughs happen for my tribe.

They created new products, new hashtags started popping up like #rentpaid, #cicisays #5kclub, they drove traffic to online stores that were now making $5,000, $10,000 and even $35,000 per month. New classes were being created because I served the needs of my audience they understood how to serve the needs of theirs. Online and social media has become much less scary and as a tribe we are #winning.

So I say all this to say, Your Brand is You.

Are you tired of hiding behind your Instagram or Facebook page? Over not making the sales you know your business is capable of?

Ready for a real plan of action for the real you?

How Do You Define YOUR Success?

how do you define your success

What's up Rich Chick!!

Today's blog was supposed to be on rebranding, but something else was on my heart.

We live in a "look what I have age" and often it's easy to get caught up in seeing what others have, and using their standards as a measure to set our own goals.  Sadly, we end up chasing many material possessions or social statuses that at the heart of ourselves truly don't mean anything to us. We let others decide what success truly is and, in the end, we're the ones disheartened.

How do you decide what influences your goals or whom to measure yourself against?

How do you define what is truly success for you?

Make a list.

What does being successful mean to you. This list is private so you don't have to share it with anyone or feel as if you'll be judged for being under/over aspirational, this is solely what it means to YOU.

Maybe a certain tax bracket has never appealed to you, but having the freedom to be able to travel the world at your leisure does. Would you be ecstatic to tell the next Sallie Mae representative exactly where they can go, and happily pay off the full loan? Perhaps you want to have a secure future for your kids or pay all of your bills up for the next year. Success could mean replacing the income you currently have at your 9-5 with your own creative business.

Freedom, Security, Peace of Mind?

What drives you and ultimately makes you happy? The answers to these questions are what should be the basis of your definition for success, nothing else.

4 Plans Every Business Should Have

4 plans every business should have

Beginning a business can come with what seems to be an overwhelming to do list. Some may want to skip corners and just complete the bare minimum, which in my opinion just makes more work in the long run. I have narrowed down what I consider to be 4 essential plans to have in place when your goal is for your small business to succeed.

Listed below is an overview:

The Business Plan

What are the what, whens, hows, and whys of your business? Having this plan detailed and in place gives your brand/business direction, as well as focus. Need a business plan template?

The Branding Plan

What is your brand identity? What is your brand voice? What need does your brand fill? How do you want to be viewed  by potential clients or other businesses?

The Marketing Plan

You have great products, but how do you get them to your ideal client, better even who is your ideal client? What is your market niche? What ways do you advertise to be the most effective? This plan will help you ensure that your product is being seen by the ones who need and will buy it.

The Profit Plan

Putting it altogether, how will you be profitable? What are your profit goals and how will you achieve them?

Why Do You Need A Business Coach?

do you need a business coach

So, you see them all around the internet. Marketing, Business and Brand Coaches. What exactly is their purpose and do you need one?

First of all coaches are great, if you have the right fit. Coaches are a great sounding board but overall I feel their purpose is to help guide you.

For Business coaching, if this is your first business and you're lost on where to begin in regards to making profits, displaying your information, turning interested parties into sales, you may want to consider a coach. A coach will help you form a plan and be able to give you an unbiased set of eyes to look at your business. Oftentimes using family as a sounding board or for constructive criticism can be counterproductive. You need truthful answers in how to develop your business. Most family members may feel hard pressed to tell you an idea won't work. On the other hand maybe your family doesn't support you.

Having a great coach will help you sort through what ideas are feasible and which are better left on the drawing room floor. Coaches can provide accountability for actions as well as give you deadlines that left unchecked you may give yourself slack on. They can create a plan for you to follow but also make changes along the way that will help you step out of your comfort zone, but also adapt to your needs.

Be mindful. Not all coaches have the same teaching style and you need someone you can work with over an extended period of time. If you personalities don't mesh well, don't feel as if you have to make it work. Find someone else. Do your research, and know there is nothing wrong with getting help.

On your road to success,a coach is just one of the many tools you can use to make your business profitable. My 90 Day Coaching program is now open, you need a coach to take you to the next level click here!
